The Atlantic Research Alliance (ARA) is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening Europe’s STEM ecosystems. ARA will provide the financial, administrative, and operational infrastructure required for researchers to initiate or continue bold, high-impact projects with leading European institutions—without sacrificing academic freedom or research momentum.
Mission
ARA’s mission is to catalyze and accelerate scientific and technological progress in Europe by establishing a premier hub for collaborative research involving leading international teams.
ARA will attract top-tier talent by enabling access to world-class infrastructure and providing a stable financial and administrative framework that safeguards academic freedom.
ARA supports new and ongoing research projects, as well as bold, international “moonshot” initiatives that advance the frontiers of science and innovation.
Who we fund
ARA will support ongoing, new and “moonshot” STEM research initiatives.
Researchers and initiatives will be qualified and selected in conjunction with expert boards to ensure scientific excellence.
Funding for paradigm-shifting “moonshot” projects will draw inspiration from programs such as JEDI, DIANA, and DARPA.

When you are ready to move, we can help with finding the right European university, and when you arrive with getting set up and you and your family fully integrated in the new lifestyle.
Compensate and Foster
We compensate with your donations the delta of salaries for the first five years and we help professors find additional paid engagements.
Select and Verify
We select the quality of the projects of applicants and the right use of your donations. We verify the correct execution of the projects and the win-win outcome.
